Is your clock not running in time or standing still? Time to visit the clock maker!

Most of the clocks I see, have not been serviced for a long time. The clocks have done their work for many, many years without any problems. Yet, because of that, one day will arrive your clock will have problems.

A timepiece is provided with small drops of oil and grease in the right place. The oil will mix with dirt and dust over the years and this will work as a kind of abrasive. As a result, the bearings of the shafts in the timepiece will also wear out, causing the wheels to lose their ideal engagement.

The result is, the timepiece will have more and more trouble turning all the wheels smoothly. The timepiece will no longer run on time and even worse: stop!!!
